Our Name
LRC

Our school is named after an amazing teaching professional, Lydia Romero-Cruz. Lydia Romero-Cruz was born and raised in Santa Ana and spent her life giving back to the community as an educator who was skillful in all subject matters and classroom management. Additionally, she specialized in Bilingual Education and partnered with other educators to promote dual immersion programs. Because of her many achievements and great qualities, Santa Ana Unified School District voted to name this school after Mrs. Romero-Cruz. The staff, parents, students, and community will remember Mrs. Romero-Cruz and honor her for her great contribution to the community.

Our Mascot
The official mascot for our school is the Cougar. The Cougar was selected because it resembles unique strength and beauty, which are the qualities we strive to cultivate in our students.
